Job summary

Epiroc, a global OEM, seeks a Regional Planning Expert in Australia to drive integrated demand forecasting and inventory optimization for the APAC region. You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Service, Customer Centers, Production Centers and regional supply chain teams to balance availability, stock levels and cost efficiency.

You will lead end-to-end planning, adjust forecasts based on market intelligence, and ensure alignment with growth and service targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end supply chain management including forecasting and inventory control in a global environment.
• Strong experience in an MRP planning environment, preferably within OEM organisations.
• Good knowledge of inventory management across multi-country operations within APAC.
• Ability to collaborate across locations in a global setting.
• Experience in project management and implementing change in a global organisation.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and continuous improvement of demand planning and inventory optimization processes in the region.
• Support collaborative planning with customer centers and internal stakeholders.
• Consolidate and analyze local demand plans, adjusting forecasts and stock levels based on market intelligence, business developments, fleet changes, contract updates, and major events.
• Monitor inventory and availability targets for Customer Centers and Distribution Centers with regional supply chain teams.
• Review, maintain and optimize inventory across regional warehouses balancing availability and cash flow.
• Manage and optimize forecast and stockholding settings in the systems.
• Approve and execute replenishment policy changes and stocking requests in line with global processes.
• Collect and consolidate forecast files from local teams and submit results to Global S&OP.
• Analyze and proactively manage excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory to minimize costs and improve service.
• Participate in projects to implement new processes, system functionalities, and company integrations or divestments.
• Contribute to supply chain competence development and cross-functional collaboration to enhance customer service.
• Identify, propose, and implement process improvements in alignment with the global process owner.
