Job summary

The Weir Group in Australia is seeking an experienced Inventory Planner to optimise stock across APAC. You’ll translate regional policies into practical plans that balance service, working capital and operations across multiple warehouses.

You’ll partner with supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, sales and finance to maintain inventory parameters, run forecasting with Excel and SAP, and drive continuous improvement and governance in a complex environment.

Qualifications

• Around 5 years' experience in inventory or supply planning within multi-site operations.
• Advanced Excel skills for planning and reporting.
• SAP or ERP/MRP experience with inventory management and forecasting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Execute APAC inventory planning across Australia to balance service, working capital and operations.
• Analyse inventory performance and provide root-cause insights via dashboards.
• Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, sales and finance to optimise parameters.
• Lead process improvements and governance, coaching planners.
