Professional Search Group in Perth is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to own the day‑to‑day AP function and help the business move from Xero to Oracle NetSuite. You’ll work closely with the Financial Controller in a growing resources company.

The ideal candidate has 2–3+ years in AP, hands‑on Oracle NetSuite experience, and strong attention to detail. This full‑time role offers $80,000–$85,000 plus super, plus incentives, and a chance to influence process improvements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and match to purchase orders.
• Code invoices correctly and prepare weekly payment runs.
• Respond to supplier queries and manage AP inbox.
• Set up and maintain supplier details.
• Reconcile supplier statements and credit card transactions.
• Assist with month-end tasks and reconciliations.
• Support the transition from Xero to Oracle NetSuite.
• Identify ways to improve AP processes.
• Work with finance team under supervision of Financial Controller.

We’re working with a growing resources company looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join its finance team.

This is a great opportunity to join a business that’s going through an exciting period of growth. You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day accounts payable function while also helping the business move from Xero to Oracle NetSuite.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll be responsible for managing the accounts payable process from start to finish.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Processing supplier invoices and checking them against purchase orders.
• Making sure invoices are coded correctly.
• Preparing weekly payment runs.
• Responding to supplier queries and managing the AP inbox.
• Setting up and maintaining supplier details.
• Reconciling supplier statements.
• Managing company credit card transactions and following up missing receipts.
• Assisting with month-end tasks and reconciliations.
• Helping with the move from Xero to Oracle NetSuite.
• Looking for ways to make the AP process easier and more efficient.

About You

We’re looking for someone who enjoys being hands‑on, takes pride in their work and can manage their workload independently.

You’ll ideally have:

• 2–3+ years' experience in an Accounts Payable role.
• Previous hands‑on experience using Oracle NetSuite is essential.
• Experience using Xero.
• Good understanding of accounts payable processes and GST.
• Experience handling company credit card reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
• Full Australian working rights.

Experience within mining, resources or construction would be a bonus but isn't essential.
