Job summary

CareerMode Consulting Group, in collaboration with a global mining leader, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional on a permanent basis in Brisbane. The role focuses on high-volume processing, three-way matching and multi-cost centre coding to support rapid growth.

You will communicate with suppliers and key stakeholders on site, manage foreign currency transactions, and ensure accurate reconciliations in a collaborative finance team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume accounts payable role, preferably within mining.
• Experience handling foreign currencies and multi-currency reconciliations.
• Strong communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders on site.

CareerMode are teaming up with a renowned global mining company to appoint an experienced Accounts Payable professional to their growing team on a permanent basis. With a major mine life extension and increased production now underway, the organisation is investing in its finance function to support the next phase of growth. Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for

The Role

Supplier statement reconciliations

Resolve invoice discrepancies and payment queries

About You

Ideally, you have proven experience in a high-volume accounts payable position within a mining organisation

Experience with foreign currencies

Ability to communicate with suppliers and key stakeholders on site

Prior experience within Mining & Resources industry is highly desirable for this position
