Job summary

Professional Search Group is recruiting an experienced Accounts Payable Officer for a busy business in the Cannington area, WA. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity with a salary of AU$80,000 plus superannuation on permanent appointment.

You will join a supportive Finance team and handle high-volume AP tasks, supplier reconciliations, expense reimbursements, and invoice processing in a high-volume environment, with a focus on accuracy and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Accounts Payable Officer position.
• Experience processing high-volume invoices and supplier reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Confidence with accounting systems or ERP software (MYOB advantageous).
• Good Excel skills and understanding of AP processes.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in construction, building or multi-entity environment would be advantageous, but is not essential

Responsibilities

• Processing high volumes of supplier and subcontractor invoices
• Preparing fortnightly payment runs and ad hoc payments
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a well-established business based in the Cannington area.

This is a fantastic temporary-to-permanent opportunity, offering an attractive salary package of $80,000 + superannuation upon transitioning to a permanent position.

Working as part of a supportive Finance team, you'll take ownership of a variety of accounts payable responsibilities in a busy, high-volume environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:

• Processing high volumes of supplier and subcontractor invoices
• Preparing fortnightly payment runs and ad hoc payments
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
• Processing employee reimbursements and credit card reconciliations
• Managing supplier queries and following up outstanding invoices
