Job summary

Lives Lived Well is seeking an AOD Counsellor for our Mackay office to deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions. You will run group day programs and provide individual counselling for clients with problematic AOD use, with a capped caseload and on-site supervision.

The role is full-time, maximum-term until June 2027, with a competitive hourly rate dependent on experience and salary packaging up to 15,900 AUD annually.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing individual treatment plans and facilitating group programs.
• Strong cultural awareness and safety with diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to manage caseload daily and work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver group day programs and individual counselling for clients with AOD use.
• Maintain accurate reports and case-notes in compliance with legislation.
• Contribute to case conferences and team discussions for continuous improvements.
