Job summary

Uniting Communities in Adelaide is seeking a Counsellor/Case Manager for the New ROADS Residential Rehabilitation Program. This fixed-term part-time role (30 hours per week) focuses on thorough assessments, risk screening, and coordinating pre-admission support to ensure client safety.

You will provide intensive AOD counselling in office and outreach, build partnerships with community organisations, and support clients to adopt healthier lifestyles while reducing stigma.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Social Work, Psychology, or related field; AOD qualifications with experience also accepted.
• Proficiency in intensive support, counselling and case management using a multidisciplinary approach.
• Ability to build relationships with diverse clients and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Providing therapeutic AOD services both in-office and through outreach programs.
• Supporting individuals in AOD programs to initiate and maintain healthy lifestyle changes.
• Cultivating community partnerships to enhance client outcomes and increase referrals.
• Combating the stigma surrounding AOD and mental health issues.
