Job summary

Freedom Furniture is seeking a Retail Trainer to join the Retail Training team in NSW, Australia, with responsibilities spanning digital, face-to-face and informal learning across ANZ.

The role requires collaboration with area leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver effective training and onboarding across Freedom stores in Sydney and broader NSW, with travel to other states and New Zealand as needed.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to the curation of Freedom's sales and product training strategy in partnership with the Head of Retail Training.
• Delivering engaging and inspiring workshops both face-to-face and digitally across ANZ to all sales teams.
• Supporting stores through 1-2-1 and small group training to help embed sales skills and product knowledge.
• Working with the training team to design, develop and deliver blended learning solutions - including face-to-face programs and online modules - that meet defined learning objectives and engage a diverse retail audience.
• Playing an active role in managing and maintaining Freedom's Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring content is current, well-organised and accessible across the network.
• Supporting the ongoing evaluation and updating of learning content to ensure accuracy and relevance as Freedom evolves.
• Working alongside the training team to design, develop and deliver Freedom's induction program, ensuring new starters are onboarded effectively and set up for success from day one.
• Assisting in tracking training completion, learner progress and performance outcomes through the LMS to surface insights and inform future learning priorities.
• Partnering with key stakeholders — including area leaders and product and buying teams — to identify skill gaps and translate business needs into effective learning solutions.
