Job summary

Freedom Furniture is seeking a Retail Trainer to join the Retail Training team in NSW. The role focuses on creating and delivering learning solutions about our products and sales best practices, working with senior stakeholders on diverse learning projects across digital, face-to-face and informal mediums.

The position is full-time, primarily based in New South Wales, with travel to Freedom stores around Sydney and potential work across other states and New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to the curation of Freedom's sales and product training strategy in partnership with the Head of Retail Training.
• Delivering engaging and inspiring workshops both face-to-face and digitally across ANZ to all sales teams.
• Supporting stores through 1-2-1 and small group training to embed sales skills and product knowledge.
• Designing, developing and delivering blended learning solutions—face-to-face programs and online modules—meeting learning objectives.
• Managing and maintaining Freedom's Learning Management System (LMS) for content that is current and accessible.
• Updating learning content to reflect Freedom's evolution and ensure relevance.
• Designing and delivering Freedom's induction program to onboard new starters effectively.
• Tracking training completion, learner progress and performance outcomes via the LMS to surface insights.
• Partnering with area leaders and product/buying teams to identify skill gaps and translate business needs into learning solutions.

Whatyou'llbe doing

Your role as a Retail Trainer sits within the Retail Training team,whichis responsible forcreating and delivering learning solutionsregardingour products and best practice sales training.Reporting to the Head of Retail Training, based in Australia, you will partner with a wide range of senior stakeholders on multiple learning projects that span digital,face-to-faceand informal mediums.

This is a full-time role based primarily in New South Wales. Yourmain focuswill be on Freedom storeslocatedin and around the Sydney area, and you will travel to collaborate with our teams throughout the state. Although your base will be in New South Wales, you may alsobe requiredto support stores in other states and in New Zealand.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Contributing to the curation of Freedom's sales and product training strategy in partnership with the Head of Retail Training.
• Delivering engaging and inspiring workshops both face-to-face and digitally across ANZ to all sales teams.
• Supporting stores through 1-2-1 and small group training to help embed sales skills and product knowledge.
• Working with the training team to design, develop and deliver blended learning solutions — including face-to-face programs and online modules — that meet defined learningobjectivesand engage a diverse retail audience.
• Playing an active role in managing andmaintainingFreedom's Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring content is current, well-organisedand accessible across the network.
• Supporting the ongoing evaluation and updating of learning content to ensure accuracy and relevance as Freedom evolves.
• Working alongside the training team to design, develop and deliver Freedom's induction program, ensuring new starters are onboarded effectively and set up for success from day one.
• Assistingin tracking training completion, learnerprogressand performance outcomes through the LMS to surface insights and inform future learning priorities.
• Partnering with key stakeholders — includingarealeadersand product and buying teams — toidentifyskill gaps and translate business needs into effective learning solutions.
