Job summary

EVT is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to manage the end-to-end payroll for Australia and New Zealand weekly employees and corporate entities. You will work with HRIS, Recruitment, and Finance to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing and data integrity.

You will be a subject-matter expert in payroll legislation, mentor Payroll Officers, and lead improvements to drive efficiency and automate processes. Experience with Dayforce and strong Excel skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of end-to-end Australian payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation (Fair Work, PAYG, STP, superannuation).
• Advanced experience with payroll systems (Dayforce preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, reconciliations).
• Experience with HRIS or recruitment systems for employee lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll for Australia and NZ weekly employees and corporate entities.
• Perform payroll reviews and sign-off ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and policies.
• Maintain data accuracy and integrity with HRIS, Recruitment and Finance teams.
• Support audits by maintaining accurate payroll records and transparency.
• Mentor payroll staff and drive process improvements and automation.
