Job summary

Ignite in Australia is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales growth in the electrical power and HV testing sector across Australia and New Zealand. You will build strategic relationships with utilities and major industrial customers while expanding channel partnerships and contributing to national strategy with regional managers and overseas teams.

The role requires a minimum of 5+ years in technical sales, deep HV knowledge, and the ability to travel nationally with

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in technical sales or business development.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, especially high voltage.
• Experience with substations, transformers or HV equipment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
• Engineering or engineering technology degree.
• Sales training completion is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive business development activities across Australia and New Zealand.
• Develop strategic relationships with utilities and major industrial customers.
• Grow sales through existing and new channel partners.
• Collaborate with regional sales managers and international industry directors to develop national strategy.
• Promote advanced electrical testing, monitoring and diagnostic solutions.
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops and product demonstrations.
• Attend trade shows and workshops for the promotion of company products and deliver presentations when needed.
• Work closely with global product and technical teams
• Maintain accurate sales activity through CRM systems
