Job summary

Hitachi Energy Australia seeks a Senior Sales Engineer to drive sales of HV equipment and lead tendering efforts for GIS, circuit breakers, Econiq and related solutions. You will build strong client relationships, deliver technically sound proposals, and shape pricing and market strategy across accounts.

The role requires 7+ years in technical HV sales/engineering, fluency in English, and proficiency with Salesforce and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of technical sales or engineering in HV.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC) and Microsoft Office.
• Fluency in English (speaking, listening and writing).

Responsibilities

• Drive sales of HV equipment by identifying opportunities and delivering tailored solutions.
• Prepare and submit tenders and quotations with technical and commercial content.
• Build long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Support pricing strategies, product positioning and business development.
• Ensure safety, integrity and quality standards and maintain SFDC records.
