Job summary

Ourschool Ltd is seeking an Alumni Program Coordinator to deliver the alumni program at Muirfield High School, North Rocks, Sydney. This part-time role (2 days per week) is a 2-year fixed term contract with potential for extension, reporting to the CEO and line manager.

You will build relationships with alumni, manage events, grow the database and coordinate communications to engage students and staff. The role focuses on inspiring students by connecting alumni with career pathways and

Qualifications

• Seven selection criteria including outstanding interpersonal skills and tailored communications
• Excellent written and verbal communication; public speaking
• Ability to manage deadlines and workloads independently
• Experience managing social media platforms (Facebook/LinkedIn)
• Strong project management and team-oriented attitude
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Proficiency with Canva and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Build and engage the school’s alumni community via phone, email and social media
• Plan events: alumni career pathways sessions, Q&A sessions in classrooms
• Maintain and grow the school’s alumni database
• Coordinate communications: alumni newsletters, social media
• Provide progress reports to Ourschool and school leadership
• Deliver outreach to promote the Ourschool program
• Promote and advocate for the program and participate in evaluations

Education

Degree qualified (tertiary degree) in marketing or communications or journalism or education or relevant work experience
