Job summary

Mainfreight Wharf Brisbane is seeking a Fleet Allocator to coordinate daily container movements between Port Terminals, customers and empty container parks, planning and executing schedules to ensure on-time delivery while complying with regulations.

You will not necessarily need prior wharf allocation experience, but excellent communication, a knack for fast-paced teamwork, and a willingness to learn about transport, logistics and the global supply chain are highly valued.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Mainfreight Wharf Brisbane (the container transport division of the Mainfreight Group) based at the Port of Brisbane, is currently looking for our next Fleet Allocator to join our growing team.

As a Fleet Allocator, you will play a key role in coordinating our fleet operations between Port Terminals, our valued customers, and other sites including empty container parks. You will be responsible for planning and executing daily movements, ensuring on-time delivery performance, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations and Mainfreight standards.

While previous wharf allocation experience is advantageous, it is not essential. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to embracing the Mainfreight Way.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning daily container movements and preparing the following day's schedule
