Job summary

Mainfreight Wharf Brisbane is seeking a Fleet Allocator to coordinate daily container movements between Port Terminals, customers and empty container parks, planning and executing schedules to ensure on-time delivery while complying with regulations.

You will not necessarily need prior wharf allocation experience, but excellent communication, a knack for fast-paced teamwork, and a willingness to learn about transport, logistics and the global supply chain are highly valued.

• Plan daily container movements and prepare the following day's schedule.
• Coordinate and communicate with drivers throughout the day.
• Manage equipment allocation.
• Book containers into empty container parks and port terminals.
• Communicate proactively with customers when delivery issues arise.
• Collaborate with our operational team to achieve service outcomes.
