Kanda is seeking a calm Allocations Consultant for a remote casual role within our Perth-area team. You will match shifts, ensure credentials and compliance, and handle last-minute changes in a fast-paced environment.

This frontline operational position covers after-hours and weekends with flexibility, including early starts from 4:45am and late ends to 10:15pm. Ideal for those who thrive under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience in allocations, rostering or workforce coordination (healthcare preferred).
• Clear, confident communication in spoken and written form.
• Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume, time-critical environment.
• Strong attention to detail, especially with compliance and credentials.
• Familiarity with workforce management or booking systems.
• Professional, calm and solution-focused approach.
• Available for early starts, late finishes and weekends.
• Experience in health labour hire, nursing agencies, aged care, disability or hospital staffing is a bonus; knowledge of awards, fatigue considerations and scope of practice is helpful.

We’re looking for a calm, switched‑on Allocations Consultant to join Nursing Australia on a casual basis in our Perth team. You’ll sit at the heart of a 7-day-a-week service, matching the right people to the right shifts, keeping credentials and compliance spot‑on, and solving problems fast when the pressure is on.

Please note: This is a frontline operational role covering mainly after hours and weekends, with day shift cover as needed. This is a remote role. Shifts vary and can include early starts from 4:45am and late finishes through to 10:15pm, so flexibility is key.

What you’ll be doing

• Allocating and coordinating shifts across a 7-day‑a‑week service, matching the right people to the right requests
• Managing bookings and rosters in our workforce management systems, accurately and in real time

• Responding calmly and quickly to last‑minute changes, urgent requests and after‑hours demands

• You have experience in allocations, rostering, scheduling or workforce coordination (healthcare preferred)
• You communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing
• You can work under pressure in a high-volume, time‑critical environment
• You have a high attention to detail, particularly with compliance and credentials
• You’re confident using workforce management or booking systems
• You bring a professional, calm and solution‑focused approach
• You’re available for early starts, late finishes and weekends
• Experience in health labour hire, nursing agencies, aged care, disability or hospital staffing is a bonus, as is knowledge of healthcare awards, fatigue considerations, clinical roles, skill mix and scope of practice
