Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced UX researchers to help train and improve AI-enabled document, spreadsheet, and slide deck tasks. The role focuses on owning the full research lifecycle from discussion guides to insight synthesis, with responsibility for creating evidence-based decks and recommendations.

The position is fully remote with flexible hours (5-20 hours per week) and immediate start. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in customer or user research and strong written communication skills for

Qualifications

• 4+ years conducting customer or user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys) with ownership of the full study lifecycle from discussion guide to insight synthesis.
• Fluency with thematic coding methods, survey design/statistics, and translating raw research data into usability test findings decks and journey map documents.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct user research studies (interviews, usability tests, surveys) across core workflows.
• Synthesize findings into actionable insights and journey maps.
• Create insights briefs, reports and decks to support product decisions.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate research into actionable recommendations.
