Job summary

Ethos is seeking AI engineers to help train a language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. You will craft technical design docs, data pipeline docs, and evaluation reports for internal and client-facing use, ensuring high-quality, precise documentation.

The role is fully remote with flexible commitments of 5–20 hours per week, starting ASAP. Candidates should have 4+ years in software, AI/ML, or data roles and a strong ability to communicate complex ideas in writing.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to author and refine technical design documents, API specifications, and architecture decisions.
• Strong writing and communication skills for cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Meticulous documentation craft with careful attention to details and clarity.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks.
• Document tradeoffs and readiness assessments for engineering and cross-functional teams.
• Develop API specifications and onboarding guides to support integration and use.
