Job summary

Zurich Australia is seeking a Technical Lead in Retail Life to shape the future of AI-led insurance and modern technology delivery. You will guide design, build and scale cloud-native solutions, working across engineering, product and design teams to drive customer outcomes and accelerate digital transformation.

You will own solution designs, deliver production-grade software, and promote DevSecOps practices while aligning with architectural roadmaps and technology strategy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading software engineering teams.
• Hands-on development across modern tech stacks.
• Experience with large, complex transformation or migration initiatives.
• Expertise with cloud technologies, DevOps, CI/CD and production-grade platforms.
• Experience applying AI-assisted development approaches.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Own solution designs across squads and technologies, ensuring scalable, well‑architected outcomes.
• Deliver high‑quality software solutions into production that create value.
• Drive automation across delivery processes and technical solutions.
