Employment Hero is seeking a Marketing Operations Specialist who is an AI-first automation expert with deep Marketo knowledge. You will be the architect of our marketing engine, transforming manual processes into autonomous, scalable workflows and eliminating friction across our MarTech stack.

In this role you’ll manage Marketo operations, troubleshoot funnel issues, align marketing with sales, and drive data quality and AI-enabled optimization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Marketo/CRM experience in a fast-paced B2B environment.
• Strong AI mindset with experience using AI tools to automate workflows.
• Proven systems thinking across the MarTech stack (data flow from touchpoint to Salesforce).
• CRM proficiency with Salesforce integrations and map object lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Platform Management & Support: run day-to-day Marketo operations with high uptime and scalable processes.
• Lead Investigations & Troubleshooting: diagnose funnel leakage, routing, scoring, and sync issues between Marketo and Salesforce.
• Operational & Campaign Optimisation: continuously optimise campaigns, apply AI, accelerate speed-to-market.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: translate marketing/sales processes into data constraints and technical solutions.
• System Overhaul & Simplification: collaborate on high-level projects to reduce technical debt and simplify the Marketo instance.
• List Operations Management: oversee data hygiene, segmentation, and list execution; explore AI-assisted automation.
• Ruthless Documentation: keep comprehensive, up-to-date docs of systems and workflows.
