Job summary

Monks is seeking an Analytics Engineer to turn raw GA4, media and CRM data into modeled, trusted datasets in BigQuery for major APAC brands. Join our Sydney or Melbourne data team (hybrid), focusing on measurement strategy, data engineering, reporting, and applied AI.

You will build pipelines, validate data quality and enable AI-powered insights for clients. You will work across measurement, attribution, Looker dashboards, and PoC AI tools, with growth opportunities in the APAC data team and

Qualifications

Strong SQL skills with window functions, CTEs and complex queries.
Experience building pipelines on Google Cloud for marketing data.
Ability to explain results to clients and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with GA4 event models and BigQuery export schemas.
Experience with dbt, Dataform or similar tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain pipelines that bring GA4 exports, ad platform data and CRM data into BigQuery.
Model raw event data into clean, documented tables using SQL and dbt/Dataform.
Orchestrate jobs with Cloud Composer, Cloud Functions or Cloud Run.
Set up data quality tests and monitoring for dashboards.
Translate measurement plans into tables and metrics and deliver client insights.
