Monks in APAC seeks an Analytics Engineer to transform raw GA4, media and CRM data into trusted BigQuery datasets for marquee brands. You will build pipelines, model data with SQL, and help apply AI to analytics. The role is hybrid, Sydney or Melbourne, with a path from measurement to AI-enabled insights.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL including window functions, CTEs and nested queries.
• Experience with BigQuery including partitioning and clustering.
• Hands-on GA4 data modeling and BigQuery export schema knowledge.
• Built and scheduled data pipelines on Google Cloud.
• Proficient in Python for data tasks and automation.
• Able to explain data insights to non-technical clients.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain pipelines to bring GA4 exports, ad platform data, and CRM data into BigQuery.
• Model raw event data into clean, documented tables using SQL and dbt or Dataform.
• Orchestrate jobs with Cloud Composer, Cloud Functions or Cloud Run.
• Set up data quality tests and monitoring for dashboards.
• Work with GA4 schemas and attribution re-builds where UI falls short.
• Collaborate with tagging specialists to ensure reliable data.
• Translate measurement plans into tables and metrics.
• Answer client questions with SQL across funnels and channel performance.
• Develop semantic layer behind Looker Studio dashboards.
• Present findings clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to AI data tooling and PoC APIs on client data.
