Job summary

Monks is seeking an Analytics Engineer to turn raw GA4, media and CRM data into modelled datasets in BigQuery for major APAC brands. You will join the Data team in Sydney or Melbourne (hybrid) as a full-time, mid-level hire.

The role focuses on building pipelines and enabling AI-driven analytics across marketing data. You will work across measurement strategy, tagging, data engineering, reporting and applied AI, building the semantic layer for Looker dashboards and presenting findings to clients

Qualifications

Strong SQL and data modelling experience.
Experience building pipelines on Google Cloud.
Ability to explain data to non-technical clients.
Familiarity with GA4 and marketing data.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain pipelines that ingest GA4 exports, ad data and CRM data into BigQuery.
Model raw event data into clean tables using SQL and dbt or Dataform.
Orchestrate jobs with Cloud Composer, Cloud Functions or Cloud Run.
Set up data quality tests and monitoring.
Work with GA4 BigQuery export schemas and attribution.
Collaborate with tagging specialists to ensure data quality.
Translate measurement plans into tables and metrics.
Build the semantic layer behind Looker dashboards.
Present findings to clients and stakeholders.
