Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions is seeking a Merchandise Manager in Cooma, NSW. You will lead the merchandise function, optimize sales and inventory across ag chem, fertilisers and related products, and work with branch leaders to drive growth and exceptional service.

You will build strong customer relationships, manage pricing and stock levels, and coach a high‑performing team to support sustainable branch performance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandise sales and inventory management with margin control.
• Commercial acumen to drive branch growth and customer relationships.
• Budgeting, reporting and operational performance tracking.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Understanding of safety, compliance and store operations.
• Certificate in Agriculture or equivalent; exposure to SAP ERP and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise function for Cooma, manage sales and inventory.
• Collaborate with branch leadership, agronomists and sales teams.
• Manage stock levels, pricing, margins and stockturn.
• Support branch budgets and overall commercial performance.
• Execute local merchandising, marketing and promotions.
• Build relationships with customers to grow the branch.
• Coach team on merchandise knowledge, systems and service.
