Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions is seeking a commercially minded Merchandise Manager for our Bourke, NSW branch. You will oversee merchandise sales, inventory, pricing, margins and store presentation while leading a high-performing team in a region known for sheep, wool, cattle and broadacre farming.

You will build strong customer relationships, identify new sales opportunities and drive sustainable business growth with a hands-on leadership style and focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in rural merchandise sales or agribusiness.
• Strong relationship-building and leadership capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage inventory, pricing, and sales performance.
• Customer service excellence and coaching skills.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee merchandise sales, inventory, pricing and margins for the Bourke branch.
• Lead the merchandise team and drive campaigns and store presentation.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Monitor stock levels, stock turns and product obsolescence; ensure profitability.
• Support budgeting, planning and financial performance reporting for the branch.
• Coach staff to improve product knowledge and customer service.
