Job summary

Mayflower is seeking a Learning & Capability Manager to lead our people’s learning pathway from day one through to career progression. You will set the learning strategy, ensure mandatory training and competencies, and guide a small team of Coordinators who support staff on the floor in applying training in practice.

This role drives value by aligning training with the Aged Care Act and Quality Standards, building a culture of continuous learning, and developing leadership paths.

Qualifications

• Experience leading learning and capability programs.
• Strong reporting and analytics for governance committees.
• Ability to explain regulatory requirements to frontline staff and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead learning strategy from onboarding to career progression across homes.
• Oversee training programs and competency records; manage Ausmed data and reporting.
• Collaborate with General Managers to design education that improves resident care.
