Job summary

Melbar Aged Care is seeking a Senior Quality & Education Officer to drive continuous improvement and ensure quality care. You will lead organization-wide initiatives, identify improvement opportunities, and support gaps to enhance our care team's capabilities.

With focus on training, you will design programs, audit outcomes, and collaborate with stakeholders to embed a culture of quality and learning across our growing home-care services in Sydney.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality management within aged care or healthcare.
• Strong staff education and training background.
• Knowledge of aged care quality standards and accreditation processes.
• Proven leadership and outstanding communication abilities.
• Current AHPRA registration as a nurse in Australia (aged care preferred).
• IV in Training and Assessment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance activities to meet aged care standards and regulatory requirements.
• Design and deliver staff training programs to enhance care outcomes.
• Develop, implement and review policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits to monitor service delivery and improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to promote quality and learning.
• Provide expert guidance to teams to foster proactive quality management.
