Job summary

BlueCare in Lowood is seeking a part-time Home Services Officer (All-Rounder) to help create a clean, welcoming environment for residents. You will assist with meals, dining room support, cleaning, laundry and person-centred service within our aged care home.

The role emphasizes food safety, infection control and quality service, with opportunities to work across kitchen, cleaning and laundry, while meeting probity checks and contributing to the wellbeing of residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, food services, cleaning, laundry or a similar role.
• A customer-focused approach with a commitment to providing quality service.
• Understanding of food safety, infection control and cleaning practices.
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with meal preparation, meal service and dining room support.
• Cleaning resident rooms and shared areas to a high standard.
• Providing laundry services, including caring for resident clothing and linen.
• Supporting residents with warm, respectful and person-centred service.
• Following food safety, infection control and hygiene practices.
• Working as part of the hospitality team to deliver quality daily services.
