Job summary

BlueCare invites applications for a Home Services Officer to support meals, cleaning and laundry across our Warana Beachwood Aged Care Facility. This casual role focuses on creating a clean, welcoming environment and assisting residents with daily activities and dining.

You will join a hospitality team committed to high standards of care, food safety and respectful, person-centred service. Prior experience in related roles is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, food services, cleaning, laundry or a similar role.
• Customer-focused approach with a commitment to quality service.
• Understanding of food safety, infection control and cleaning practices.
• Confidence to satisfy probity checks required by legislation or policies.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with meal preparation, service and dining room support.
• Cleaning resident rooms and shared areas to a high standard.
• Providing laundry services for resident clothing and linen.
• Supporting residents with warm, respectful and person-centred service.
• Following food safety, infection control and hygiene practices.
• Working with the hospitality team to deliver quality daily services.
