Job summary

BlueCare Lowood Aged Care Facility in Queensland is seeking a Home Services Officer (All-Rounder) to support residents with meals, dining room service, cleaning, and laundry, delivering warm, person-centred care to enhance wellbeing.

This part-time role requires flexibility for early and late shifts; salary is $30.05 p/hr plus super and Not for Profit salary packaging. Work with a friendly hospitality team to make a meaningful difference in residents' daily lives.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, food services, cleaning, laundry or a similar role.
• Customer-focused approach with a commitment to quality service.
• Understanding of food safety, infection control and cleaning practices.
• Confidence to satisfy probity checks required by legislation or policies.
• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with meal preparation, meal service and dining room support.
• Cleaning resident rooms and shared areas to a high standard.
• Providing laundry services, including care of resident clothing and linen.
• Supporting residents with warm, respectful and person-centred service.
• Following food safety, infection control and hygiene practices.
• Working as part of the hospitality team to deliver quality daily services.
