Job summary

BlueCare, part of the UnitingCare family, is seeking a Home Services Officer (All-Rounder) at the Kallangur Pilgrim Aged Care Facility. The role involves assisting with meals, cleaning, laundry, and resident support to ensure a welcoming environment and high quality of life for residents.

The position is a casual opportunity with shifts across mornings and afternoons, offering a chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents and to grow within a compassionate team.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, food services, cleaning, laundry or a similar role.
• Customer-focused approach with commitment to quality service.
• Understanding of food safety, infection control and cleaning practices.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, meal service and dining room support.
• Clean resident rooms and shared areas to a high standard.
• Provide laundry services for residents.
• Support residents with respectful, person-centred service.
• Follow food safety and hygiene practices.
• Work with hospitality team to deliver daily services
