BlueCare is hiring a Home Services Officer (All-Rounder) for its Mackay Aged Care Facility on a casual basis. The role focuses on creating a clean, welcoming environment and supporting residents’ wellbeing through meals, cleaning, laundry and person-centred service.

Morning and afternoon shifts are available, with flexibility to meet roster needs. Applicants should be able to meet probity checks and NDIs screening as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, food services, cleaning or a similar role.
• Customer-focused approach with a commitment to providing quality service.
• Understanding of food safety, infection control and cleaning practices.
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.

Responsabilités

• Assisting with meal preparation, meal service and dining room support.
• Cleaning resident rooms and shared areas to a high standard.
• Providing laundry services, including caring for resident clothing and linen.
• Supporting residents with warm, respectful and person-centred service.
• Following food safety, infection control and hygiene practices.
• Working as part of the hospitality team to deliver quality daily services.
