Job summary

BlueCare in Springwood is hiring a Home Services Officer (All-Rounder) to support residents in our aged care home. You will help create a clean, welcoming environment and contribute to residents’ wellbeing through meals, cleaning, laundry and general hospitality tasks.

The role is casual with shifts starting early morning through to evening, and includes penalties and allowances as part of the remuneration package. A dedicated team and caring culture await.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, food services, cleaning or a similar role.
• Customer-focused approach with commitment to quality service.
• Understanding of food safety, infection control and cleaning practices.
• Confidence to satisfy probity checks required by legislation or policies.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist meal preparation, meal service and dining room support.
• Clean resident rooms and shared areas to a high standard.
• Provide laundry services for residents’ clothing and linen.
• Support residents with warm, respectful, person-centred service.
• Follow food safety, infection control and hygiene practices.
• Work with hospitality team to deliver quality daily services.
