Job summary

UnitingCare Children, Young People and Families – Lowood QLD is seeking a part-time Home Services Officer (All-Rounder) at the BlueCare aged care facility. You will help create a clean, welcoming environment and support residents with meals, cleaning and laundry, delivering warm, person-centred service.

This role involves morning to evening shifts, opportunities to grow with a supportive team, and access to superannuation, salary packaging and other Not-for-Profit benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, food services, cleaning, laundry or a similar role.
• A customer-focused approach with a commitment to providing quality service.
• Understanding of food safety, infection control and cleaning practices.
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Assisting with meal preparation, meal service and dining room support.
• Cleaning resident rooms and shared areas to a high standard.
• Providing laundry services, including caring for resident clothing and linen.
• Supporting residents with warm, respectful and person-centred service.
• Following food safety, infection control and hygiene practices.
• Working as part of the hospitality team to deliver quality daily services
