Job summary

Hardi Aged Care in Blacktown, NSW seeks a dedicated Full-Time Cook to join our team, working with the Head Chef to prepare nutritious meals for residents. Monday to Friday shifts and a supportive kitchen environment.

You'll follow four-week rotating menus, ensure food safety and dietary requirements, and assist with supervision in the Head Chef's absence. Prior aged care experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and HACCP principles.
• Understanding of nutritional and dietary requirements for residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to rotating four-week menus.
• Follow standardised recipes and meet dietary requirements.
• Maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards in the kitchen.
• Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Lead and supervise the kitchen team in the Head Chef's absence.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations.
