Hardi Aged Care is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and experienced Cook to join our kitchen team at the Penrith facility. You will prepare nutritious meals for residents and must be available to work weekends, Fridays to Sundays, in a permanent part-time role.

Join our Head Chef to ensure high-quality meals, meet dietary needs and maintain HACCP standards, while supporting a positive team environment and reliable service.

Qualificações

• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery.
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience in aged care food services (highly regarded).
• Knowledge of nutritional and special dietary requirements, including texture-modified meals.
• Strong organisational, time management and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead the kitchen team when required.
• Current National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations as required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook weekend meals in accordance with our four-week rotating menu and standardised recipes.
• Ensure all meals meet quality standards, including presentation, portion control, consistency and texture requirements.
• Prepare meals catering to residents' individual nutritional and dietary needs, including texture-modified diets.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
• Supervise and support the kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef.
• Ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely meal service.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
