Job summary

Kirinari Community Services seeks experienced Aged & Home Care Workers to help older Australians remain independent, connected and safe at home. You will work in clients' homes, delivering compassionate personal care, domestic assistance and social support to enhance quality of life.

Applicants should have at least 2 years’ experience in aged or community care, strong communication, a person‑centred approach, reliable time management and a valid driver licence with access to a insured vehicle;

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in aged care, home care or community care.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A caring and person-centred approach.
• Excellent time management and reliability.
• A genuine passion for supporting older Australians.
• Current Driver Licence and insured vehicle.
• Current First Aid & CPR.
• National Police Check and NDIS Worker Check.

Responsibilities

About the Role

You will support older Australians to maintain their independence and quality of life by assisting with:

• Domestic assistance (this is often the largest part of your day)
• Personal care
• Meal preparation
• Transport to appointments
• Shopping and errands
• Community participation
• Social support and companionship

You will work directly in clients' homes and communities, supporting them to achieve the goals that matter most to them.
