Job summary

Kirinari Aged Care is seeking experienced Aged & Home Care Workers to help older Australians maintain independence at home and in their communities. You will assist with daily tasks, personal care, meal preparation, transport, shopping and social activities, delivering compassionate and respectful support.

You will work directly in clients' homes, building lasting relationships with regular clients, while benefiting from ongoing training and career development within a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in aged care, home care or community care.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A caring and person-centred approach.
• Excellent time management and reliability.
• Current Driver Licence.
• Reliable and insured vehicle.
• Current First Aid & CPR.
• National Police Check.
• NDIS Worker's Check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with domestic tasks and personal care to help clients stay autonomous at home.
• Prepare meals and support meal planning for clients.
• Provide transport to appointments and assist with errands.
• Support community participation and social activities.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance wellbeing.

About the Role

You will support older Australians to maintain their independence and quality of life by assisting with:

• Domestic assistance (this is often the largest part of your day)
• Personal care
• Meal preparation
• Transport to appointments
• Shopping and errands
• Community participation
• Social support and companionship

You will work directly in clients' homes and communities, supporting them to achieve the goals that matter most to them.
