Job summary

Kirinari Community Services is seeking experienced Aged & Home Care Workers to help older Australians remain independent and connected in their own homes. You will provide compassionate support across daily tasks and personal care.

Join a team that values ongoing training, flexible schedules and meaningful relationships. You will visit clients at home, build trust with families, and support independence, safety and community participation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in aged care, home care or community care.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Caring, person-centred approach and reliable.
• Current Driver Licence and insured vehicle.
• Current First Aid & CPR, National Police Check and NDIS Worker Check.

Responsibilities

• Domestic assistance and personal care to maintain independence.
• Meal preparation, transport to appointments and errands.
• Support community participation and social connection.
• Provide companionship and monitor wellbeing in clients' homes.

About the Role

You will support older Australians to maintain their independence and quality of life by assisting with:

• Domestic assistance (this is often the largest part of your day)
• Personal care
• Meal preparation
• Transport to appointments
• Shopping and errands
• Community participation
• Social support and companionship

You will work directly in clients' homes and communities, supporting them to achieve the goals that matter most to them.

We'd Love to Hear from You If You Have:

• At least 2 years' experience in aged care, home care or community care
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A caring and person-centred approach
• Excellent time management and reliability
• A genuine passion for supporting older Australians
• Current Driver Licence
• Reliable and insured vehicle
• Current First Aid & CPR
• National Police Check
• NDIS Worker's Check
