Job summary

Kirinari Community Services in Armidale is seeking experienced Aged & Home Care Workers to help older Australians stay independent, connected and safe at home.

You will support with daily living tasks, personal care, meal prep, transport, shopping, and social activities, delivering compassionate, person-centred support in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in aged care, home care or community care.
• Current Driver Licence.
• Reliable and insured vehicle.
• Current First Aid & CPR.
• National Police Check.
• NDIS Worker's Check.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

About the Role

You will support older Australians to maintain their independence and quality of life by assisting with:

• Domestic assistance (this is often the largest part of your day)
• Personal care
• Meal preparation
• Transport to appointments
• Shopping and errands
• Community participation
• Social support and companionship

You will work directly in clients' homes and communities, supporting them to achieve the goals that matter most to them.
