Design & Build Recruitment – Melbourne VIC is seeking an Aftercare Maintenance Manager to oversee defects and maintenance across commercial projects in metropolitan Melbourne. The role blends administration, client interaction and site visits, with flexibility for office-based or site-focused work.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction industry with defects and rectification understanding.
• Ability to identify issues and coordinate trades efficiently.
• Strong communication with clients, owners and subcontractors.
• Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple items.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building defects, maintenance requests and aftercare issues across projects.
• Assess defects and coordinate trades to carry out rectification works.
• Schedule and coordinate trades, monitor progress and follow up on items.
• Communicate with clients, including apartment owners, with regular updates.
• Arrange site visits, inspect issues and help determine practical solutions.
• Maintain records and ensure aftercare matters are completed.
• Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to deliver high service standards.
