• Carpentry trade qualification or construction qualification preferred.

Join an established builder focused on quality and customer experience An exciting opportunity is available for an Aftercare Coordinator to join an established construction and property development business delivering residential and mixed-use projects across Victoria and Queensland.
With a strong focus on quality, craftsmanship and client service, has an in-house aftercare team dedicated to supporting clients beyond project handover.
This role will suit someone with a background in residential construction, carpentry, maintenance or defects management who enjoys problem-solving, coordinating trades and ensuring issues are resolved to a high standard.

The Role Working closely with the Quality & Aftercare Manager and construction teams, you'll take ownership of post-handover defects and maintenance requests across completed projects, ensuring rectification works are organised efficiently and clients receive a positive aftercare experience.
Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinate defect inspections, assessments and rectification works across completed residential projects.


• Schedule and manage subcontractors and trades to ensure defects are resolved within agreed timeframes.


• Liaise with homeowners, residents, property managers and internal construction teams.


• Conduct site inspections and ensure completed rectification works meet quality standards.


• Maintain defect registers, work orders, inspection records and warranty documentation.


• Manage competing priorities throughout the defect liability period and provide regular updates to clients.


• Identify recurring defects and provide feedback to construction teams to improve quality on future projects.

About You

• Experience in aftercare, defects management, residential construction, maintenance or a similar coordination role.


• Practical understanding of building methods, materials, finishes and common construction defects.


• Experience coordinating subcontractors, trades and rectification works.


• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to manage client expectations professionally.


• Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple outstanding issues.


• Competent with Microsoft Office and construction management or defect-tracking systems.


• A carpentry trade qualification or relevant construction qualification will be highly regarded.
