Design & Build Recruitment – Melbourne VIC is seeking an Aftercare Coordinator to oversee post-handover defects and maintenance requests across residential projects in Victoria and Queensland. You will coordinate defect inspections, manage subcontractors, and liaise with homeowners while maintaining defect registers and warranty documentation.

The role requires experience in aftercare or defects management, strong organisational and communication skills, and a practical understanding of building

Qualificações

• Experience in aftercare, defects management, or similar coordination role.
• Understanding of building methods and common defects.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and trades.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Highly organised with ability to manage multiple issues.
• Comfortable with MS Office and construction management software.
• Carpentry trade qualification or construction qualification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate defect inspections, assessments and rectification works.
• Schedule and manage subcontractors to resolve defects within timeframes.
• Liaise with homeowners, residents, property managers and internal teams.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure rectification meets quality standards.
• Maintain defect registers, work orders, inspection records and warranties.
• Manage priorities during defect liability period with regular client updates.
• Identify recurring defects and provide feedback to improve future quality.
