Job summary

Newstime Media in Canberra is seeking an energetic salesperson to support advertisers across Canberra Weekly and canberradaily.com.au, with a strong grasp of digital and social media sales.

The ideal candidate will build long-lasting client relationships, propose multi-platform advertising solutions, and work with the team to deliver seamless campaigns. A permanent full-time role with a base salary and monthly bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years sales experience (experience in media is desirable, but not essential).
• Understand the multi-media landscape and provide multi-platform advertising solutions to clients.
• Identify and target potential clients; build long standing relationships and communicate the value proposition of our advertising solutions.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advertising platforms to identify new business opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure seamless execution of advertising campaigns.
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Motivated by achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Has a current motor vehicle and driver’s license.
• Consideration will be given to Junior applicants with the right aptitude who are able to demonstrate a willingness to learn and work hard.
