Job summary

Randstad Australia in Sydney's CBD is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our pool of candidates for permanent roles. You will manage the full-function payroll cycle across multiple locations using ADP, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

This role focuses on the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, handling salary increases, back pays and various leave accruals, while acting as the main contact for payroll queries and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of proven experience in a payroll processing role.
• Confidence in processing payroll for multiple sites.
• Solid understanding of current Australian payroll legislation and compliance standards.
• High-level attention to detail, strong communication skills to work closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-function payroll cycle across multiple locations and entities.
• Handle the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding to Employment Termination Payments (ETPs).
• Accurately calculate salary increases, back pays, and various leave accruals.
• Act as a primary point of contact for internal payroll queries via the HRIS system, email, and phone.
• Ensure strict adherence to Australian payroll legislation while assisting with standard reconciliations, payments, and reporting metrics.
