Job summary

The University of Western Australia is seeking an Admissions Officer to join the high-performing Admissions team in Perth. The role processes domestic and international applications from review to offer and provides guidance to applicants and staff.

It is a full-time fixed-term 12-month contract, with base pay of AUD 86,540–AUD 95,220 plus 17% super. Candidate will evaluate qualifications, calculate GPAs and English proficiency, ensuring compliance and accuracy in high-volume processing.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a complex administrative environment with strong numerical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong digital literacy across business systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assess and process domestic and international undergraduate and postgraduate applications, from review to offer.
• Evaluate academic qualifications, calculate GPAs, assess English language proficiency, verify documentation.
• Provide high-quality advice and support to applicants, academic staff and key stakeholders, contributing to efficient admissions services.
