Job summary

The University of Western Australia is seeking an Admissions Officer to join the high-performing Admissions team. You will assess and process domestic and international applications from review through to offer generation, providing guidance to applicants and academic staff.

In this fixed-term 12-month role, you will evaluate qualifications, calculate GPAs, verify documents and ensure a smooth student journey from application to offer, contributing to an excellent student experience at UWA.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in a complex administrative environment with attention to detail.
• Strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for complex enquiries.
• Knowledge of domestic and international education systems and digital literacy.

Responsibilities

• Assess and process domestic and international undergraduate and postgraduate applications.
• Evaluate qualifications, calculate GPAs, assess English language proficiency, and verify documents.
• Provide high-quality advice to applicants, staff and stakeholders while delivering efficient admissions services.
