Job summary

Macquarie Education Group Australia (MEGA) in Sydney is seeking an experienced Admissions Officer to manage inquiries, offers and CoEs for VET, English, high school and higher education programs. You will ensure accuracy, timely processing and compliance across PRISMS, Meshed and aXcelerate.

You will guide agents and direct applicants, coordinate welfare for under-18 students, and produce regular admissions insights for TEQSA and ASQA. This role is on campus in Sydney CBD.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in admissions with an Australian CRICOS-registered provider.
• Strong knowledge of VET certificates/diplomas, ELICOS, higher education, and welfare arrangements for under 18 students.
• Hands-on PRISMS experience including CoEs and reporting exports.
• Advanced use of Meshed or aXcelerate, ideally both.
• Working knowledge of ESOS Act 2000, National Code 2018 and Genuine Student requirement.
• Accurate, organized with strong reporting and deadline driven.

Responsibilities

• Assess applications from agents and direct applicants: academic, English and identity documents, credit transfer and RPL, escalating complex cases.
• Issue Letters of Offer and written agreements, process acceptances, and track fee payments, receipts and refunds with Finance.
• Issue and maintain CoEs in PRISMS after checks.
• Arrange homestay and welfare for students under 18 and issue CAAW letters.
• Check files against Genuine Student requirements and track visa outcomes by agent and country.
• Produce admissions reports and insights, flag discrepancies.
• Report CoE variations in PRISMS on time, including deferrals, suspensions and course changes.
• Run PRISMS exports and data collections; keep systems accurate and aligned.
