This is a hands-on, student-facing role covering the full student lifecycle. You will support students from application and admission through enrolment, course changes, day-to-day enquiries and completion. You will also work closely with the Dean, academic staff and administration team to keep student records, systems and processes accurate and up to date.

Most of our students are international students, so clear communication, patience and a good understanding of Australian higher education or RTO administration are important parts of the role.

Process student lifecycle requests including deferrals, withdrawals, leave of absence, course changes, transcripts and other student administration matters

Work with PRISMS and support international student administration, including CoE-related processes

Assist the Dean and academic team with student follow-up, progress matters and administrative support where required

Assist with general campus and student administration as part of a small, hands-on team

Experience with PRISMS and international student administration would be highly regarded

Knowledge of the National Code, CRICOS and student administration requirements is an advantage

Confidence dealing with students face-to-face and handling a range of enquiries professionally

Ability to manage competing tasks, use sound judgement and know when an issue needs to be escalated

Experience using Canvas or another LMS would be useful, but is not essential

A tertiary qualification is desirable, but for this role relevant experience is more important than qualifications.

About Us

Australis Business School is a TEQSA-registered Institute of Higher Education and CRICOS provider based in Coburg, Melbourne.

We offer a focused suite of higher education courses across business, accounting, research and early childhood teacher education. Australis is approved to deliver the Bachelor of Business (Accounting), Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood Education, Master of Business Administration, Master of Business Research, and Master of Teaching (Early Childhood Education).

With a relatively small student cohort, we are able to maintain close contact with students and provide responsive support throughout their studies. Staff work closely across academic and administrative functions, which gives students clear points of contact and allows issues to be followed up promptly.

For someone joining our team, this means working in an environment where you get to know the students, understand how different parts of the institute operate, and contribute across the full student experience rather than being limited to one narrow administrative function.
