Rockhampton Hospital, part of the Queensland Government, is seeking a customer-focused administrator to provide frontline support to patients, visitors and staff. You will manage enquiries, process appointments, transfers and discharges, and assist clinical teams with documentation and record keeping.
This role requires strong organisational skills, comfort with hospital IT systems and the ability to work autonomously in a busy, multidisciplinary environment.

Highly organised and self-motivated: Strong prioritisation skills, able to work autonomously and manage competing demands.
Confident with technology: Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, with the ability to quickly learn hospital information systems.
Strong administrative & medical knowledge: Able to interpret patient information and medical records, with the capacity to quickly develop knowledge of medical terminology.
Excellent communication and teamwork: Works effectively within multidisciplinary teams and communicates professionally and sensitively with patients, staff and the public.
Total monthly remuneration value of up to $8,423 p.m. is comprised of:
